Hawai’i Retreats

No retreats scheduled for 2023.

It is my pleasure to announce a continuation of the annual Rest & Rejuvenate Retreat at Hawaii Island Retreat Center in Hawi, although this could be our last one because Hawaii Island Retreat center is for sale.  I am both incredibly grateful for the connections and growth that have occurred here, and incredibly sad for it to potentially be coming to an end. This center holds a special place in my heart, as do all of the people who have previously attended one of the retreats here.  I hope to make this one a VERY memorable experience!

Please join me for a weekend of relaxation, rejuvenation and re-awakening.  Check out the itinerary below.

With love and aloha,

Amanda

Hawaii Island Retreat center is steeped in history (e.g., King Kamehameha held his royal councils in it’s valley and the council stones are still there!), radiates good energy (even to skeptics; ha, more on that another time!), and is very serene. While I arrange the schedule to reflect Ayurvedic rhythms, you are welcome to take a break from the schedule at any time. However, I am confident that you will feel better if you stick to the schedule at least 90% of the time. The idea behind a retreat is that all of your basic needs are taken care of, so that you can invest time in relaxation and rejuvenation.

I have planned a hike in Pololu Valley for those of you who would like to go. On-site, there are plenty of outdoor lanais in which to relax, an infinity pool and hot tub, reading room, and exercise room (separate from the studio). There are massage therapists on-call, along with facials, Ayurvedic treatments, reiki, etc. Those cost extra and can be coordinated at the front desk upon arrival.

The tiny towns of Hawi and Kapa’au are nearby, with cute stores, cafes and historical monuments. Ziplining and fluming are available within a 10-minute drive; the ziplining is AMAZING, and the people who have gone fluming have raved about that, too. https://www.kohalazipline.com/
